Point Blank Has helped to keep hip hop alive in San Diego for over a decade. Born in 1981, this son of a preacher was destined to reach the world. Point Blank's journey into the life of music began as a young poet who found himself published at the age of 12. As a young adult, Point Blank, then known as Joel D Mutch, began experimenting with many aspects of San Diego life, including good old fashioned hip hop. Perfect fit. Point Blank was born. Nearly a decade later, the Escondido based independent label, Hatch It Records, has taken on the movement that is Point Blank. Today, Point Blank is the front man of an eclectic band known as The Even Keel and can be seen up and down the coast of California promoting his good vibe hip hop to all. Influenced by all things good and evil and driven by a sense of urgency to set a president once and for all. That this is our one life, let's live it!
