I was a full-time author and novelist since 1991; in 2004, I was seriously injured in an auto accident and six weeks later, my home was completely destroyed by Hurricane Ivan. Many other life-changing events occurred after that, especially when I also took care of my father for almost a year until he died. Formed my own company and doing so gave me an entirely new perspective on everything!
